    * Take the 55 Freeway North 3 miles.
    * Transfer to the 5 Freeway North for 7 miles.
    * Exit on Harbor Blvd. and follow the signs to Disneyland.

Follow the signs to the 55 north at the Airport.

Once you get onto the 55, head to the left (regular) lane, when the double yellow line changes to a dotted white, enter the Carpool lane.

There is a special carpool exit to the 5 north, just follow the signs.

Take the 5 north (make sure and follow the signs and not get off on other freeways) to the Disney Way exit (another Carpool exit).

The exit will have you facing west on Disney Way, the 4th light is Harbor, if you keep going straight, you will hit the Timon Parking Lot and its toll booths.

WAY back in 1978, I flew with a friend in to John Wayne Airport when it was a tiny airport(they unloaded directly onto the tarmac - that's how long ago and tiny it was! *L*). We rented a car and got directions, but it was after dark and I got SO lost! Ended up on Harbor Blvd. MILES from Disneyland, but I knew if I just kept going, we'd get there eventually! Hee hee hee hee... I would have loved to follow a shuttle - don't recall seeing any though. *LOL*

And you know how times have changed... The '78 trip was made with Southwest Airline tickets that were sold to me by a work buddy who had to cancel her trip at the last minute. We simply flew with their tickets - no name changes, nothing.

'course we just flew in and out of LAX a couple of weeks ago and that place is SO massive, I had no idea where we were for all the parking garages and terminals - until I spotted the iconic structure that's now a restaurant.

(Little did I know) That little magic box is awesome! Not only does it give you exact directions....but, you want to know what restaurants are coming up in the next mile, 2 miles, 5 miles, 10 miles, etc. just press a button! Need a gas station? Presto! You can find exactly the one you want.

I had no idea it would be as accurate as it is either. Very cool piece of equipment and one I now highly recommend to anyone!
