And, all you on here who want to help should email/call /write that place and (nicely) let them know that the should re-consider their policy in these circumstances...and perhaps, they'll be aware of just how many people will be seeing their response to this situation. Word of mouth ( or in this case..words written on this board might help to persuade them to make an exception) I don't think it could hurt..we just need to be nice about it...
