If so, what did you think? Was it fun? And what ages were in your group?

Since most of the kids were younger, the 11 year old was worried it would be too kiddy, but our guide made sure to involve every kid in some way. He ended up getting into it just like the younger kids. It was fun and at the end we all received a food voucher to have a treat.

    Hope that helps. Have fun!

Our little one is almost 5 and loves to solve mysteries, but quite honestly, I'd probably enjoy it more than her!

cherna-bog-vmk: If you don't mind pretending and acting a little silly, I think it will be fun. The oldest kids in our group were an 11 year old boy & a 9 year old boy. Everyone else was younger. The older boys thought it was fun and even the adults enjoyed pretending.

judros: Have fun! I am interested in hearing about your experience.

Jenn31: I have heard that they do different rides on different days. I don't know if that is true. We rode the train, POC, treehouse, blab, and the carousel. It was a VERY BUSY day and VERY CROWDED. We had a big group (I think 17 total) and it took us longer than advertised. It was still fun, especially for the kids. I would do it again in a few years, if the kids want.

    Have fun!

There were mostly families with kids ranging from 5-10 and they had the most fun. We found the tour to be a little boring. We were disappointed by the fact that we didn't do what was listed on the info piece on the Disney site. We didn't get to Pirate Island (where we really wanted to go) and the carousel was broken. We went on Pirates, Buzz, Tarzan's Tree House and the train. The tour is geared to the young. There was a map but we didn't use it much and instead found puzzle pieces. There was no book or pirate garb. The only character we hooked up with to talk to was Mickey (who set the whole scavenger hunt up.) There were about 16 of us total in the group which made it hard to hear the two guides and hard to maneuver through the crowded park. On Pirates the guides both sat at the front of the boat which left the ones sitting in the back out of the loop on what was going on. They didn't make up for the fact that the carousel was broken and some of the clues pointed in other directions than the way we went, i.e. two palm trees and the Tarzan clue, I thought Jungle Cruise (which would have been better than Tarzan's Tree House.) The crowds in the park made it near impossible to hear and keep up with the tour guides who were quick on their feet and easy to lose. The treasure was the same for each find, cheap plastic jewels, it should have been something related to the clue or the area (pirate coins for pirates, little green men for buzz, etc...) Only once did a kid find the treasure for the clue (adults found the rest) and in fact twice the treasure was hidden where only a cast member could go (one of which the cast member went and got it instead of us hunting for it.) We did goofy acts to get from place to place, act like a pirate, secret Buzz handshake, bridge walk and the prince and princess wave. We stopped for a drink, Mickey's favorite a magic apple (VERY SWEET, frozen drink, we brought Mickey one too.) The route retraced its self instead of getting us progressively closer to Mickey's house. At the end we got a special prize and a few moments with Mickey where we could get our photos with him and say hi. Good for younger kids, adults have to be young at heart (read three - six) to enjoy at all. Expect a couple hours of walking, climbing tree, swinging from vines and looking for treasure.
