The prices and the benefits will remain the same. When you renew your card you will be sent a new one.

At WDW they kind of have you as a captive eater, but at DL there are several options in walking distance. Kinda makes me wonder why food is so expensive in the park, but then again I am the type that will walk for cheaper food.
