Example- the queue for Alfredo's in EPCOT had an hour and 45 minute wait time at dinner one evening -- --and more amazing- people were waiting that amount instead of going elsewhere -- over 90 minute waits ( without PS's )- also at San Angelo Inn, and they were turning people away @ Whispering Canyon Cafe

Let me tell you something I didn't know. With the snack you can get almost anything you can eat under $4.00. This includes things in the shops like Fruit and nut mix, boxed cookies and cotton candy. My kids got large suckers too.

It's funny you say that... On my last visit to Disney's MGM Studios I noticed that the fruit stand has been scaled back quite a bit, you know the one it's on the road that heads down to ToT on the left side...

Unfortunately it is a way of life when vacationing at Disney. If you really want to dine at a specific restaurant, other then counter service, you will need a reservation... Even though you are going at a slower period I would recommend making reservations at least 90 days ahead.. You can get PS for all of your choices and I would suggest that you keep a log book with the restaurant name, time , date and confirmation #.. It can get confusing especially if you are having a good time in one of the parks.. I have listed Deb's Site for you... You can find all the menus and telephone #'s for all the WDW restuarants.. This way you can plan ahead.. Have a great time...

All the complaining I hear when there is from people who say " 1 hour and 45 minutes ! " -- or what do you mean you don;t have a table ? are from those who did not book ahead.

If you plann to eat ' off hours' it is easier -- but again I am not sure when the dining packages run thru and from that were part of the package-- but the restaurants are especially crowded then

The dining plan is great value, but the sacrifice is you have to plan ahead. Disney might be losing some $$$s, but they make up with prewarned planning of where guests plan to go, and it is likely to keep us on property.

That's all well and good but you do not know where this family well be dining... compared to where you dined.. so this suggestion is ill-advised... they may decide to dine where you didn't and not get a reservation at all, and be disappointed... again ,you can always cancel, but you will have them...

example: you book a PS at Liberty Tree for lunch 4 months in advance so you can eat at Noon. That day you are in the park and decide Crystal Palace is more to your liking -- go to the podium at Crystal Palace -- if they can get you in at a time you want -- great-- tell them to cancel the PS at Liberty Tree and all is done.....

The system works very well....and just one wait in a 1.5 - 2.0 hour queue for a restaurant you really want that day will convince you this is the way to go.
