Question: What is celebrated every night on Pleasure Island?

    Answer: New Year's Eve!

Now, it's bad enough that they didn't know that the NYE thing was stopped quite a while back. But to not know that Pleasure Island as a concept is totally defunct - inexcusable!

And, in conclusion...screw Pleasure Island...Walt Disney would NOT have approved!

    I sure do!

(Still had fun there, though. Adventurers Club was a hoot, and the comedy club was fun, too.)

They were well themed and well done. And they were not within a berm, so it gets my thumbs up. NYE every night with solid gold style dancers were great too.

(although, in Japan they can grab a beer right on the train platform on the way out, so it's all good)

Really? What's your beef with PI, X? Is it the alcohol? While it's true that Walt didn't want booze sold in his park(s), it was available at the DL Hotel. So I don't think he'd have any problem with it at all, as long as it was properly themed (which it was, IMO).

BTW, as an interesting (to me) aside, I was going to point this out as soon as I saw the email and opted not to fearing I'd hear that I was being overly negative and picking wings off flies ... glad to see I'm not the only wing picker!
