Ok, I am not a sport guy, but I would rather have DQ and keep ESPN over at Boardwalk. I am going to have to make the most of DQ in November!!!

One way of looking at this is that you have to pay for the same kind of activities that you can do in the research lab at the Imaginiation workshop in EPCOT.

Oh well, another reason to try to talk my mom into a trip to Disney within the next year! I like the current ESPN club location too, actually, so I hope it isn't really moving. It is a nice option to walk to for dinner if you are staying at Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin, or Yacht and Beach club and fairly reasonably priced.

No company that just puts stuff out there and expects it to be "new","refreshing" and "exciting" ten years later is going to survive.

Its practically synoymous with sports (especially of the American kind). They just moved Monday Night Football from ABC to ESPN. So what I am trying to say is that having an ESPN SportZone in DtD or elsewhere on a Disney property is a slam dunk. Its guaranteed to be full all the time (the one at DtD DLR sure is).

I just find it odd to be indoors all the time with no natural light at all.

Don't have any clue what you mean. ;-) Seriously, this is what many folks, including yours truly, have been saying for years. DQ was a wonderful concept with no follow-thru at all. It died as a concept not because it wasn't profitable, but died because it wasn't profitable 'enough.' And that comes straight from the mouth of an Orlando exec. The fact the place hasn't had any updating in 6-7 years, in what was supposed to be a cutting edge venture, I'm sure had nothing to do with that. And let's not even talk about upkeep and the cleanliness of the food/Internet areas. That was at least three years ago because I haven't set foot in there in at least that long. And, yes, Jim Hill is right whether or not the CMs, who are always the last to know, have heard. ESPN Zones are hugely popular and profitable and much larger than the ESPN Club, which will likely be handed over to retail when the DD ESPN Zone is completed.
