So, I'm starting this thread, so if you are watching TV or a movie, you can post what reference you've just seen.

    Here's the first one:

    George Lopez "Fishing Cubans"
George, Vic, and Ernie are off the coast of Florida looking for Vic's brother. They see some refugees on a raft, and thinking it's Vic's brother, welcome them aboard the boat. They find out they are Haitians and realize that could get them jail time. Ernie says "What am I going to tell my mom? She thinks I'm at EPCOT!"

In Friends the strangest place Ross had had sex was on IASW "behind a couple of those mechanical Dutch girls". He was asked never to return to the Magic Kingdom!

There were lots of Disney references in Buffy including mention of The Hall of Presidents.

I'll see if I can find the quote later.

Also, long before any Disney involvement the Muppets had an episode that featured Mickey Moose and Ronald Duck!!!

Also there are several references in the Simpson's - EFCOT, emptier than Disney's California Adventure, Euro Itchy and Scratchyland (where it is empty), and my favorite, where the Disney lawyers get heavy with principal Skinner for using the tag "Happiest Place on Earth" for the school carnival.

There are two characters (I'm not really paying enough attention to know names since it's that bad), one male and one female, who seem to be getting shipped off to war to fight and be a nurse, respectively. There's something that they've wanted to do for a while that, put subtly, their mothers probably wouldn't approve of. In the song ever so discretely titled "Do It for Our Country" they come up with justifications for doing it...for the country. Then they get to the big key change part and they start talking instead of singing:

Him: Just think about it -- it would be like as if we were doing it for the Statue of Liberty!
    Her: oOr the Grand Canyon!
Him: Or the New York Yankees! It would be like as if we were doing it for...
    Both: Disneyland!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't want to think about people doing that for our country, and certinaly not for Disneyland. : /

There was a kind of funny shot at the very beginning of everybody going into school on the first day for class, and after the front of the school is empty, a guy runs across the path and dives into a classroom window. That was about 5 minutes into the movie, and it's all been down hill from there. And it's getting late here, so there's going to be even less interesting stuff on, but I'm still on west coast time, and that unplanned nap today isn't helping me get to sleep either...

I also just thought of another one. In "That Thing You Do!" the band is told that they are done with the state fair circuit, and will be going to California to record. The various members of the band get excited about the beaches and girls and stuff, but The Bass Player (he doesn't have a real name) just says "Disneyland!" Later, they are trying to record their song, and he's nowhere to be found, and then it cuts to a shot of him on the Matterhorn, complete with era-appropriate yellow bobsleds, but they're in two car trains. That part really made me laugh, since all my friends say that I'm The Bass Player.
