Sure, I would like all of my DVD's to match on the shelf, but I realize that I really can't control it. I would like for Donald to be continued, but they can just as easily do it with the new series. I think that things like this are really neat, and should continue to be made available, but if the name and packaging changes, it really doesn't bother me too much.

I know Disney's a business and they are in it to make money, and I have no problem with that. I give them my money in exchange for quality products. But when they pull stunts like this that rub the greed in my face, it sure makes me rethink what I want to purchase from them.

Meanwhile, the response on the Disney boards has been underwhelming to nonexistent. Apparently to Disney's biggest fans, listing movies with Disneyland in them is more important than the animation legacy of the company founder (what was his name again?). I sure hope the marketing folks take this as a sign that they need to work on promoting their classic shorts, rather than a sign that it's time to abandon them altogether.
