Originally Posted By gurgitoy2 "You meant the ones from the Black-and-White era?" Well, some of them, yes, but there are still quite a few color Symphonies that are unreleased. As for Donald, volume 3, I'm not surprised. If you notice, they seem to alternate. It took a while to get all of the Mickey shorts out. I'm sure that a Donald volume 3 will be guarunteed for wave 7.

The only one that strikes my fancy is the 'Your Host, Walt Disney' DVD. SS 2 does sound interesting, but then I'd have to track down the first SS on eBay (mint-sealed with the tin case of course, hee-hee). The DL USA one really interested me, and I probably wouldn't have noticed the edit of the Mouseketeers if I hadn't read the reviews on here and Amazon... unless it's the part of them showing Walt their ideas for the, ahem, upcoming Oz films, then I would have known something was missing. I also read that there's that lame 'Don't try this at home' disclaimer during DL After Dark at the Tahitian Terrace. Oh, I don't think the warning was lame, but just the way they plastered it across the screen. Speaking of that DVD, I've mentioned this before, but here's how I would have done DL USA for volumes 1 and 2: VOLUME 1: -First Episode of DL -Last Episode of DL (the one before the park's opening) -Dateline DL -Gala Day at DL (Matterhorn, Subs, Monorail) VOLUME 2 -DL After Dark -10th Anniversary Show -POTC and the World of Tomorrow -Disneyland Showtime (featuring Osmond Brothers, Kurt Russell and the Mansion) I also noticed that the majority of Donald Volume 2 were his wartime cartoons. Wouldn't it have been possible to stick another hour of cartoons in there, or has there always been plans to make Donald a 4-volume set?

You can guess which ones i'm going to buy. Eventually I'd like to get the ones i'm missing as well. (All of mine are the original tin ones, because I heard somewhere they released non tin ones) they were all purchased new. I wish they went back to putting a paper band on them, and stamping the edition number on the tin again. Unfortunely some tins have small dents in them. I wish you could just get the entire Disneyland TV show in season sets. I also wish they'd complete the shows I have started. (I'd love to get all the Elfago Baca etc, since I believe there are more episodes?) I'd love to see the episodes we see previews for but don't get to see, I'd love to see the original ads aired, I'd love to see the completion of the serial about the job on the plane), I'd love to complete all my cartoons (not just Donald), I hate waiting between releases... On a related note does anyone know what ever happened to the Disneyland DVD that was going to be released with the 50th anniversary?

Other DVD that I wish they would have done was the Educational shorts like Jiminy Cricket's "I'm No Fool", "You The Human Animal", "E-N-C-Y-C-L-O-P-E-D-I-A", Goofy's "Freewayphobia", Donald Duck's "Donald in Mathmagic Land", "How to have an Accident at Work" and so on...

All three of the above listed go for over $50 a piece for the tin, which I would get. I bought wave 3 (4 movies) on the Disney Movie Club for $90, and on ebay or Amazon I'd get less than two for that amount. I think Silly Symphonies currently goes for the most amount of money. I keep kicking myself for not buying Waves 1 and 2 on the DMC when they had it about a year ago!
