It just looks like another credit card but it carries the balance of the rewards you have earned.

Normally, I give the rewards card to my daughter for her "shopping". It makes her feel really grown up and it teaches her responsibility. She knows that whatever the balance may be, that is all the money she gets from Mommie and Daddy to spend, so she chooses her purchases wisely!

Anyhow, you can use it anywhere in the park like a regular credit card. You can buy merchandise or food, apply it towards your hotel, etc.

For the Meet 'n Greet you just have to show them your Visa card for entry and the free photo.

Also, I forgot to list that you can use your Disney Visa card to book a vacation package through WDTC and get 0% interest on it for 6 months. We have never done this because we have annual passes and pay the card off each month, but it might be of interest to some!

When you make a purchase with your "rewards card" your receipt shows how much $$ you have left on it :) If you have $10.00 left and want to buy something that is $12.00 it is helpful to tell them how much the card has left on it. They can code it in easier that way, then pay cash or charge the rest. We have been thanked by a couple of CM's for telling them ahead of time that the card didn't have enough $$ for the entire purchase.

By the way, I haven't been a card holder for too long, and was wondering about double/triple points. I know they offer them on certain vacation packages, but do they have a "double points month" or something similar?

What about the free 5 x 7 photograph at the Meet 'n Greet? I love photographs!

We use the APs also for the discounts because it offers more, but for those who don't have an AP some discounts are better than none!

LOL...and the cards are pretty! I have the classic, which do you have?

Maybe one afternoon, if all I am going to do is shop-I'll use my free stroller benefit and it will be my shopping cart for the afternoon. Of course, I won't leave my packages in it-but I could sure gather my packages and head for the lockers or the hold area up by the gate!
