The ticket is designed to be used at one park one day and the other park the next time you go. Why try to break the rules?

Your passport will be backdated to start the first day you entered with the 2Fer. As for the rules of attending the same Park twice, you are not supposed to do that. The turnstile computers, including the Monorail ones, have access to the information on your 2Fer to know if you were in Disneyland on the day you first used the pass. If you are planning to upgrade to the Deluxe anyway, why not do that and then you can Park hop all you want?
