I did do that and I was told there will probably be a new show with more than Mr. Lincoln on stage and everybody on this site made fun of the idea.
Go back and check posts 11 through 22.
I do have faith that a new Lincoln show will be coming soon.

Then marvel at the blank faces nine out of 10 of them will have as they ask "What bicentennial?"

I do believe you and have faith as well that Lincoln will return.

Walt Disney loved the man and all he stood for. He (and possibly some other patriot figure) will be good for the park and much to the spirit that makes Disneyland.

It is no big deal I just wanted to point out that there have now been multiple reports of the same news. I think that is hopeful news! :)

What are you doing for the bicentennial, Disneyland?

They said they hadn't yet heard that he would be coming, but that they did hear that Sally Field has been cast to play Mrs. Lincoln.

What I would like to see is Disney put something completely new and different in the spot. Lincoln's time is over. Let's see something more sophisticated like the essence of Lincoln downloaded directly into our brains but without the use of decaffeinated cocaine.

If the "technology" is all you got out of Mr. Lincoln, then, seems like maybe you've missed the point of what the presentation is really about.

I think it was called something like "100 Years of Magic" and was the beginning of the nonstop promotions that didn't really mean anything (sure, it's nice to celebrate Walt's 100th, but as far as the average guest was concerned, it meant nothing...they were even kind of advertising it as 100 years of the Disney company). I believe that was the one where they 'added' a parade to each park: Share a Dream Come True Parade (the original incarnation of the snowglobe parade) at MK, Tapestry of Dreams (edited version of Tapestry of Nations) at Epcot, Stars and Motorcars at MGM, and Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade at DAK. At the time they were making a really big deal about all of it, and it did seem like a special time to be in WDW, even if they didn't do anything in DL. Heck, that's the reason that they added that hat to the Studios, so there's concrete (and steel, and glitter, and...) proof that they did something. It may not have been much for west coasters, but everybody on the east coast knew about it. To say that the company did nothing to celebrate it is just foolish.

I am visiting Disneyland on my birthday next week and plan on looking for the ones that are still available, like the one they say is in the Indiana Jones queue, as shown in this page: http://www.hiddenlincolns.org/...ge2.html

Has anyone else seen these or heard of these? Its really interesting to me :)
