What's more, even after the long day, I'm still not ready to leave. That does justify the price in my head.

    I would either:

    purchase a SoCal discount

    purchase a multi-day park hopper

    purchase an AP

have my dad purchase military tickets

I would not do a one-day-only at the park again, unless I lived within an hour's drive. But then, I would have an AP, or be saving, so I'd rather wait anyway.

But at the end of either day, I always want to stay as long and just soak in the atmosphere, so I would probably have to say yes.

As mentioned above, a long day, with rides, Fireworks and Fantasmic!, it is worth the price.

If I had a different (i.e. larger!) budget, quite possibly. Heck, given a budget large enough I'd fly to DL Paris just for a day, or espcially DL Hong Kong for just a day!

However, I cannot imagine only being able to spend only one day at Disneyland. I wouldn't know what attractions to leave out and would feel I had to rush around which to me, would ruin my day!

It is the premiere of the So Cal theme parks and the quality is worth the price. Just remember you get what you pay for.

That's a good deal (but if there's a discount, go for it!).

But if they cut back on cleaning, maintenance and entertainment (like WDW and Paris) I would think twice.

I have to pay airfare, rental cars, meals, hotels, and all the rest of the costs of coming to Anaheim for a trip to DL. Our week long vacations in California runs about $7000 for the 4 of us usually. We usually only do it once every other year although we have been the last 3 years in a row.

    Not this year though :(
