Since I worked in the park on that day that during my lunch I walked Main Street to see the all the guests lined up on the red carpet (this was around 12:30 in the afternoon and I was lucky enough to wear a costume that was considered blendable). From all that I am reading it sounds like the folks who are coming to the premiere might also get to have the whole resort or they are holding the screening somewhere other than on the Rivers of America like they did for the last one. It was great that the guests got to line Main Street for the last premiere, I heard nothing but great things about it from some of the guests who were able to be there.

I will be anxious to read the post from folks here when the event happens.

I was working that day too. It was bad...

From what I remember, the park closed at 6:00PM but Guests were allowed to remain for the red carpet thing...

I could be wrong; it's been two and a half years.

Us Disney Geeks have put 2 and 2 together, and figured out that Disneyland would not close at 5 PM on a Saturday except for one thing, the premiere, which Matt Ouimet said would be hosted at Disneyland last week...

So there are NO DETAILS about the event, and I doube we will see any until late May or early June...

Afterward, we headed to the Plaza Inn to eat. (Our waitress reported that Johnny Depp had dropped by the kitchen to greet those who had to work that night.) Then we were "swept out" as the red carpet ended and the screening began.

I felt sorry for people who wanted a typical night at the park. I was especially appreciative of all the cast had to endure to ensure that a truly amazing event could happen. I would hope that this premiere would be scaled back, but somehow retain the excitement and glamor of the first one.
