There were some standard questions like "How often do you go on it?" and "What do you like most about it" What threw me was when it asked "What would you miss the most if the attraction were removed?"

I can understand GGGC and Astro Orbiter being on the chopping block, but Indiana Jones? What's going on there??

I really, really REALLY don't think Indy is going ANYWHERE. The showbuilding, queue, infrastructure and footprint are just TOO huge.

Plus the attraction is LOVED. there would be riots in Main Street!

The first screen of the survey asked about 15 attractions and how often I go on them - "Always", "Rarely", "Sometimes", etc.

They were (as far as I can remember) Indy (always), GGGC (never), Astro Orbiter (never), Peter Pan (sometimes), Mr Toad (often), Monsters Inc (sometimes), Autopia (rarely), Innoventions (rarely), Tower of Terror (always), ALice in Wonderland (often), It's a Small World (sometimes), Jungle Cruise (sometimes) and It's Tough to Be a Bug (often).

So there was no rhyme or reason, based on my responses, why they would match up Indy with Go-Go and Astro Orbiter. Maybe they wanted to have the survey-responder think about a popular immersive attraction (Indy) while reviewing those two attractions in order to get some negative responses.

I guess I should feel encouraged that they might be thinking about removing Go-Go and Astro Orbiter.

You'd make the ride fun again, and move a big bottleneck.

Why would the Jungle Cruise or IASW be on that list? They wouldn't think of tearing them out would they? Or adding any drastic changes like adding characters? The Jungle Cruise is a core classic ride that's perfect as is. As for IASW, how could they possibly screw that ride over any more than they've already done?

If anything, Autopia must stay and be green. The Astro Orbiter either needs to be moved or jettisoned.

Personally, I go on Alice, Mr. Toad, and Peter Pan as often as I can, when crowds allow. IASW and Jungle Cruise are always on my priority list. Indy, I can take or leave. I haven't been on Autopia in awhile, and I don't plan to until they clean up their act.

Take out Disneyland's Go-Go Coaster? Over my dead body! Smokey and the girls in the lighted cages wouldn't like it either.

They could also be checking to see which attractions could get 'upgrades'. In early 2005 the Jungle Cruise got some additions (explosions by the trashed camp, pirhannas, new waterfall) in prepparation for the 50th, and it really helped bring some new life into the attraction. Of course, iasw got the characters a few years ago, which debatedly may have added something. POTC got film references. I suspect that they're not looking to completely overhaul every attraction, but perhaps they're looking for opportunities to do enhancements, and how well it would pay off.
