Has anyone else noticed this? Can anyone confirm the change and the reason?

I don't have as much experience with the smell, but we were saying it smells like a combination of a minty lemony scent. By the way, this seems like the perfect opportunity to ask the question we've been wondering... Just why do you need the hand stamp anyway? As long as you have your ticket, what's the reason you need the hand stamp too?

We park hopped so much on Monday that we had 4 handstamps! They couldn't read them at all, so I don't know how they know it's not from the day before.

And a fun game that I learned from listening to the LP Podcast: When you go through the exit turnstyles, let the rest of your group go ahead of you. When you get your handstamp, run up behind someone and smear it on their face (effectively 'witch' slapping them). When you go on a ride with a blacklight (basically any indoor ride), you can point and laugh at them! Once they're onto your scheme, it gets tricky, and often turns into a wrestling match across the Esplanade, until your hand is all dried out. (Note: make sure the first time you do it that you get a really juice stamp; you don't want to waste that first shot if it won't stick anyway)
