Disneyland Holiday Decorations

    They don't all come down at once. But sometimes even before New Year's Day you will start to see the Christmas Decorations slowly disappear. The poinsettia's changed for other flowers throughout the resort, then some of the trimming on the buidlings on Main Street. The noticable "undecorating" is when the tree comes down, and the garland over Main Street.

    Oh, of course most of the Christmas Merchandise goes on sale the day after Christmas, and for DL, the merchandise does make for some of the Holiday Spirit and the Parade goes on thru New Years Day. But on Jan 2, the holiday vibe is pretty much exhausted.

The fireworks and snow begin daily starting November 12th (could be the 11th?) and I would guess that the majority of decorations will be up by then. It's a process, not an overnight deal, but you'll probably see decorations if you're there after then.

    Which makes it all the more ironic that they take the decorations down before Jan 5, the 12th day of Christmas (also the eve of the Feast of the Epiphany).
