I guess we are in our room more than most because my dd conks out early so it is nice for me to be able to people watch at night. The walk is not that much farther to make a difference between the two, it just depends on what you like to see. I know some people always want the pool view and that doesn't thrill me at all-lol. Anything is better than the parking lot view though but enough people have raved about getting the Marina Parking lot view above the 4th floor and enjoy that because they can see the top of the matterhorn and some of the fireworks at night. Remember though, you get what you get meaning even if they ask you what view you prefer and tell you it's guaranteed, it's not. They told me we were guaranteed the DTD view next week in the Sierra tower but I am not holding my breath-lol. If you pay for a view though, you get some kind of view meaning either pool, waterfall or DTD. I hope I don't regret my choice this time after the peaceful stay at Bonita because they have these "new" booths in DTD selling CDs and it is really reallly loud.

We saw the fire works it was great! We love the Bonita with the view of the koi pond also from the lower floors. We have been very lucky and have never had to stay on the parking lot side of it. Our air conditioner started leaking on our 3rd day. They wanted to give us the presidental suite but it was booked already. We really enjoyed the Bonita tower. Very very peaceful.
