If anyone gets so much as a sore throat, use it, it works. Also, airborn is great, too. The only thing I'm forseeing are crowds. But if you avoid the weekend (especially Saturday and late Sunday), you'll be ok. For touring, I suggest the "Unofficial Guide to Disneyland" and stick to it. They work better than winging it on crowded days.

Originally Posted By TinkerbellPatten >>But since the YOAMD, crowds have been heavier than usual...even in October and December, when it's usually "off peak"<< I totally agree, xPPx... we went the first week of December (mid-week) and found it to be unusually crowded. The "secret season" isn't the "secret" it used to be! The lines weren't too long but the streets, shows, and fireworks were totally packed. The locals love coming to view the Christmas decorations and go Christmas shopping in the park. Just like us tourists. ;-) We're going the last week of May again to use our APs and do a comparison of the holiday season which is when we normally go. Maybe I will find the holidays aren't so crowded after all. Either way, we're thrilled to be going back. Crowds or not. Like Pollyana said, Bring em on!

Lines were long, weather hot (and we are from AZ), and completely not our cup of tea. We stick to October and November. This past November, hubby and I went the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and it was very nice. Very low crowds, nice weather until Friday when it rained cats and dogs, but we were leaving that day. Anyway, if you go, just expect the unexpected - more crowds than you expect, longer lines than you expect, hotter weather than you expect, and people watch. I love to people watch.

I expect good times and good crowds and good memories!

So, leave fewer things in strollers/wheelchairs when you are on rides-things can tend to "disappear".

Also, having a disney water mister was very pleasant while standing in some hot lines.
