I guess there are many, many people who don't watch Super Bowl, because they were all at Disneyland. However, even though it was crowded, it wasn't as bad as say just a regular sunday in January, slightly less crowded. Some of the more popular rides had a wait time of 45-55 minutes, and anything over 20 minutes is considered crowded to me. Also, Disneyland has significantly changed over the last couple years with all the ticket options available, many Southern Californian's have been purchasing Annual Passports because it's cheaper than a regular ticket, hence packing into the park, especially on a Sunday as most people work M-F, so there has been definite change I've noticed because of this.
