Difference between no So Cal folks and the locals (who are the bigger numbers), is we are there on vacation. So having a nice meal and some wine tasting is a great part of the experience. something a local on a day off might not find as interesting perhaps (and yet they have more opportunity for these kinds of attractions). Now excuse me while I lament the loss of Golden Dreams and Seasons of the Vine. I have to admit that Mao Tse Mickey on the Wheel does nothing for me. though it does seem iconically like the figures of the communist block - let's all bow to the mouse ;-)

LOL Interesting article. I think even with the changes DCA will still be "mature". It will still have the more mature thrill rides that Disneyland doesn't have like Screamin' and Tower. Besides, one can assume, at least I do, that most younger kids will be up in CarsLand and that if you avoid that area it will still be relatively child free in other places. But only time will tell.

I usually always answer the questions though. I'm in no hurry most of the time and they're very friendly and just trying to meet their quota. In fact on the way OUT of the park the same day someone tried to ask me again and I said "Can't! We're trying to get to a movie in DTD!" she was like "No problem! Enjoy yourselves!" If you're polite and professional I'm much more likely to take the time to help.
