As a fellow Aussie I can say LP is very welcoming. I'm not sure where you are purchasing the tickets from but just double check anything before you purchase online, as in my experience Disney does not ship tickets overseas. Our last four trips to DL we have had to have our tickets waiting for us at the hotel as they will not ship to Australia. I'm not sure for other companies? Good luck!
