From what I've gathered there really won't be anything minor about this renovation, so I would expect it will be pretty darn loud for the people staying in the same tower as the construction.

Oh sure, they'll do something, but I fear that it will just be cosmetic. Unless they plan to raise the ceilings in the lobby considerably and tear out some of those ugly and dated shops and restaurants around the pool, I don't see much to get excited about. Didn't the DLH get an extensive renovation right before DCA opened?
