Those gulls on the exterior look nicely articulated (turning heads, flipping wings, and beaks coordinated to their squawks). I hope they will be able to survive Orlando's harsh climate. Aside from the relentless sun, there is a driving rain storm nearly every afternoon around 4. WDW has a very bad track record when it comes to maintaining small but crucial details like this. With the new management team in place, I hope this will change.

It looks like they are plastic on the outside, which should help keep the mechanics safe, and it also looks like they have very few functions (flap wings, turn head, open beak, and extend neck), so it should be fairly easy to keep them up. That said, they are very convincing, and they look (and act) just like they do in the movie, which is great!
