    Plus, a bunch of guest stars :>

    We wanted to get up this morning and do a Fantasyland Blitz with Wendebird and SuzieQ but after 2 straight days of no napping Jacob was wiped out. I figured an extra two hours of sleep was far smarter than an unhappy kid. Even the Happiest Place On Earth can’t cure a tired five year old. :> So, we let him sleep. We missed the breakfast at the Embassy and just headed to DCA. We went straight to White Water Snacks for brunch.

    When we got there we all picked out our meals when I went to pay the cash registers were down and the poor CM’s were pretty rattled. They let us sit down and begin to eat on the honor system that we’d come back to pay. Meanwhile, several Furries were in White Water, including Tiger guy. Aye yi yi! Jacob spotted them and it was off to the races with the questions. LOL! My mom diverted him and we ate outside.

    We left WWS, picked up a Soarin’ FP and headed for Crush. Jacob had been asking since day one to see Crush. We all cracked up and laughed at Crush Dude! Char, PapaHead loves Crush. We went straight from there to Monster’s Inc. Jacob thought it was funny that Roz spoke to me at the end of the ride. Asking me if I was shy and could I scream? I did and Jacob thought that was just hysterical. He does a great Roz. LOL!

    We met up and rode Soarin’ with Wendebird, the birdettes and SuzieQ. Afterwards, we all got an ice cream and relaxed for several minutes. They decided to go back for a nap as they’d been there since early morning in Fantasyland. We decided we’d do Flik’s Fair and then head back for a nap. Jacob loves the rides there. We did all four. My mom and I rode everything with him except the bumper cars – bleck. He explored the whole area. For the first time he really got that we were shrunk and in a yard or garden. He laughed at the sprinkler head, the popsicle stick bench, the juice box drink stand, the Kleenex box restrooms and cereal box entrance. When we left we had to explore the Bountiful Farm area, the huge Candy Corn and the tractors.

    Then Jacob spotted the Sun Wheel. Can we ride that Nina? How could I say no? So off we went, 45 minutes later we were up in the air. He LOVED that. Really enjoyed seeing both parks from up so high. We even rode one of the swaying ones, didn’t phase him. He spotted the Jumpin’ Jelly Fish and Golden Zephyr so we were off the ride and over to the other side for more kid rides. His giggle is infectious and we had a lot of fun. As we walked past Golden Dreams Jacob spotted the GRR, so we turned left and went into the Redwoods. LOL! So much for getting back to the hotel for the nap. It was now 2.5 hours later. He played in there for awhile then spent about 20 minutes watching people come down the rapids. It was a very leisurely day letting him explore. I figure he’s only going to be five once. It was getting a bit nippy so we headed for the parking lot and back to the hotel three hours after I told SuzieQ we’d be leaving. LOL!

    We just got into our room, changed clothes, had something to drink and went back into the DL. All weekend whenever we passed Main Street and people were camped out Jacob asked to see the parade. I promised him we would. The parade was only running at 7pm this day, so we decided to grab some corn dogs and sit down to wait. We found a great curbside spot in Town Square, my mom went after the corn dogs and I waited with Jacob. He was very patient. We played find the letters of your name on the building signs, how many things do you see with the color red and other games. We waited about 45 minutes as the parade actually started from Small World.

    After the parade we only had about an hour and a half, so we rode Buzz, the tea cups and Dumbo all for the last time. As we walked down Main Street to head back to the hotel I noticed Jacob walking slower and slower. He began asking me a ton of questions;

    Nina, why all the lights are white?
    Nina, why does it have a train track but no train?
    Nina, how come the horses don't work at night?
    Nina, when do they take the flag down?
    Nina, does the fire truck really work?
    Nina, is that really a bank?
    Nina, can we see Steve and Donald?

    Finally, I said Jacob, why are you walking so slow? C'mon Tia and Nina are tired. It gets quiet, I turn and wait for him to catch up. He looks at me and says...

    Nina, it's hard to say goodbye to Disneyland. I said, I know Papa, it's hard for Nina most of the time too.

    <sigh>

    Our last 1/2 day coming up with a few pictures...

    I have to say that you have some of the greatest trips. I wish I could go as much as you do.

    Yeah right, who am I fooling! Even my mama has an AP now. LOL!

    "I'll go with you. That way we can each have two!"

    LOL!! We got our complimenary wine, fixed the girls each a shirley temple and came back upstairs as they were getting more woke-up.

    FINALLY, we see Lisa stroll past our room.

    Oh, and by Tiger guy, do you mean that guy who's gradually trying to transform his body into a tiger with tattoos, surgeries, whisker implants, etc.?
