DLP is really shaping up

    The "Disney Character Express" had a press review this week. It's a new morning character parade which will travel Main Street a number of times each day. It should look familiar too any regular DLP visitors as it's a refurbished Casey Jnr float from the World of Disney Parade. The music will be familiar to any TDL regulars.

    Very disappointing. At least in TDL, the characters danced during the Party Express procession. Here? The character performers just stand and wave at the guests. MAJOR YAWN!! Comfirms what I have been saying all along for the past 15 yrs... DLP performers need more/better training to convey the characters' personalities. Even under the rubberheads, these performers look bored to tears, and that conveys in their body language.

    It comes out 4 times a day in the morning and early afternoon. Plus, that is a priceless comment coming from someone who likes to bring children into the parks. Refreshing. Most parents haunt the characters for their kids' sakes.
