Lo and behold... this time, the parade just went by and again... NO show mode. Very disappointing. Makes me long for the parades at TDL where things that are supposed to happen, DO, and performances do occur flawlessly for the most part.
What reason did they have this time around not to perform the parade the way it was intended to be seen is anyone's guess... laziness? too much trouble? Not enough manpower to perform it? etc etc... But then again, re-affirms what I have been saying all along... NO other park outdoes TDL in this department, and NO park in Disney's worldwide kingdoms seem able or fit to perform the entertainment in the grander scale the Tokyo parks do.

Still, the new parade is pretty, albeit I don't care much for the music of this show... so here are some photos if you care to take a look...

Looks like your standard Disney parade; nothing particularly special or memorable. Even the name is rather blazé. As for why Toy Story, why not? It may go down in history as every bit as groundbreaking as Snow White... and I am sure kids identify with Pixar characters much more than Alice in Wonderland or Pinocchio.
