If having some extra resting time allows you to avoid problems, especially if you can do it while 'waiting' for an attraction, it seems like it's worth the hassle to get the card in the first place At the very least, I'd recommend stopping by guest relations, where they have maps showing which attractions have accessible queues, and how to access the others when using a wheelchair/scooter. It will help you go to the right place so you don't end up backtracking too much

I paid for the scooter and we're staying at GCH so if it starts becoming a problem, I'll go get it. It can't hurt to stop by and ask if the lines aren't too bad, however. They seem to be there to assist guest, not pass judgement or hassle them.
