Do you know what Liverwurst is made of? I have been on a Liverwurst "kick." I bought some a couple of weeks ago, and I saw it on sale at the supermarket yesterday so I bought some more. I am eating it now, spread on egg matzo crackers. Mmmm. But maybe you think Liverwurst is just gross. As I was spreading the Liverwurst on the crackers, I siad to my sister, "I wonder how many people eat Liverwurst?

It is something I have liked since fairly early childhood, so it was probably my parents influence. On a cruise last spring, I was the only person at the table who ordered Pate when it was available. The "good stuff" is really good, but they gave me about 1/8th ounce. Fortunately, they look forward to good tips so I simply ordered seconds.

We ate it on pumpernickel (sp) with sweet pickles. I also haven't eaten it in years and pass it up at family parties. Maybe I'll have to give it another try one of these days.
