On My last WDW trip, I can't really put my finger on it, but the way Disney operates the place now makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Kind of the same feeling that you get when you are talking to a close talker. You know, that guy who, in casual conversation, stands about a foot too close. The last time I was at DLR in 2002, it was there, but it didn't really bother me. But when I went to WDW in 2006, it was enough that I haven't been back on Disney property since, and I been to Orlando 3 times since 2006.
So my question is has ANYONE else experienced similar "feelings"?

And I wasn't talking about DVC, as I have never been approached by one. It is more the science of seperating people from their money. Stuff we all know about from the 60s like putting the milk in the back of the store so you have to walk past everything to get the most popular store items or putting the kids toys on the lower shelves so the kids will see it and beg their parents for it. That stuff is from the 60s and Disney has made a sciencce of it since then. Now I feel like a need to secure my wallet and keep my guard up just walking on property.

I think they do an equally fine job of separating us from our money.

Now, that is when comparing it to other theme parks, sporting events, concerts, etc where costs are inflated.

I am going to get caught up on my reading here at LP, then I plan on posting several reviews of things that happened on that trip. I plan on posting exactly what things cost. My opinions of what I got for my money, and different observations in general. I guess folks here can decide for themselves if they think I got my moneys worth. I want to encourage everyone to post their opinions also both positive, and negative. At the conclusion of my postings I plan on sending an open e-mail to Mr. Robert A. Iger, Mr. Jay Rasulo, and Mrs. Meg Crofton. That is if my good friend Spirit will give me their e-mail addresses I will sum up my opinions to them briefly, and invite them to read other folks comments at this site. My reviews will contain mostly positive comments. However the things that I feel are negative will have a very prominent place also.

There is no $4.00 beer at WDW. Believe me I know. Let me put in a shameless plug for my series of upcoming post addressing the price of things at WDW.

I would never leave LP, you all are like my extended family. Yes we stayed at WL again. I just love that place. I have some good things, and not so good things to say about this trip.

I did not come right out, and ask where you worked so your anomymity would not be compromised. I did look for you however.

LOL. Given that a 20 oz bottled soda is $3 I would be very surprised to fina a $4 beer.
