    I think they are trying to squeeze as much milage out of the xmas season as possible.. They have discovered the procrastinators who will avoid WDW at Xmas just because of the crowds and still give them a sense of the season. Of course... when Luther's day come around... there is no need to have xmas trees up so long.

    I would expect to see full decorations in all parks thru Jan. 7-8 since they are running Ozzie's Spectacle of Lights and No Crowd Control until then ... as well as the Jingle Parade at DAK too.

    In past years this decade, the decorations are usually up in almost their entiretly property-wide until about 1/10.

    Then they disappear from the parks ... the resorts take even longer. I have seen some having them up as late as MLK weekend.
