But the prospect of buying a 2nd place so we could get away in the summer helped us realize we could buy in Orange County for the same price as Phoenix plus a mountain cabin. We still visit friends there in the winter and wonder if we made the right choice. Then summer comes and we have no doubts. I really enjoy heat, but that is excessive even for me.
