Or for that matter that he can release a press release to say this stuff?

Or ANYTHING that doesn't smack of a teen-aged girl gone off-the-rails on a rant!?

Twitter is a very easy thing to hack.

Oh please. These are hacked Twitter messages? Sounds like something Trump would claim.

Like that would never happen. Everything on twitter is true and written by who it says. Give me a break.

If Trump ever was hacked, he'd be screaming about it and how it was all a big conspiracy, you can count on that.

No, he's never claimed anything like that; he's owned all his tweets, and AFAIK, never apologized for a single one of them. We have the equivalent of an 8 year old with A.D.D. about to move into the White House.

I have to wonder if he actually believes that or is just offering a sop to his True Believers who desperately want to believe he won it.

Between this and whining about the recount, he sure is "dost protesting too much" about the vote totals.

Given how much the man projects his faults on to other people, and his ties to notorious dirty tricksters like Roger Stone, it wouldn't shock me at all if we learned later of some dirty pool in the voting on the part of Trump.

Nothing proven yet of course. Just saying it wouldn't shock me.

Sorry, I don't do social media and I don't read or believe twitter feeds since they are so insecure. I actually have them blocked so I can't see them anyway. I just don't think Trump cares what some underling or hacker posts under his account. In my opinion it isn't worth raising my blood pressure to read.

No offense, phruby, but you're creating your own reality there. Twitter feeds are not that insecure (they're certainly more secure than this site) and the public-figure ones are quickly locked down when one gets compromised. That blue check indicates that it's Trump's genuine, verified account.

And Trump's use of twitter has been extensively analyzed, to the point that it's easy to determine which tweets are his and which are from underlings. (He uses a different phone than the underlings do.) Those are all his.

Reality doesn't go away because you refuse to pay attention to it, or because some "fair and balanced" network refuses to report it. That really is who Trump is - touchy, petulant, reckless, totally unconcerned with truth, and (just as an aside) grammatically inept in the extreme.

And he's going to be POTUS, because smart people suck. Or something.

But at least he doesn't have an ethically challenged charitable foundation. Oh wait ...

    No offense taken. :)
I just don't put very much stock in social media. That's just me.

I don't put muck stock in social media either. But that's different from saying that person-X doesn't make his own posts; especially when this person-X is so ubiquitous on social media and would pitch an immediate fit if anyone other than himself or approved staff posted anything under his name. If he ever was hacked, he'd be bellowing about it immediately.
