As we have seen with ToT and Splash Mt., cloning has been a standard Disney practice over the years.

I for one do not want to see a budget version of Journey.

And since you don't have any Vodka to appease her, she sets 2 or 3 of these huge beasts after you finally hurtling you down the mountain. This way, we'd get more large AA's and you could plus the ride and make it even more thrilling by making it more of a roller coaster type of experience. With multiple drops inside the volcano and state of the art illusions throughout. I mean really, JTTCOTE for all its bells and whistles only has one major AA and one drop. Ok, that was only with 2 minutes of armchair imagineering, so don't be too harsh.

Same with Splash Mt & EE.

Exactly - a clone doesn't mean that every aspect of the ride must be reproduced as before - even the "clone" ToT's and Splash Mt's all have their differences. A new Mysterious Island area in Fantasyland at MK might be a nice addition to the park to help combat what will be a significant amount of new competition when IOA brings in the Harry Potter section of that park in a few years.

Like the Crystal Caverns, Mushroom Forest, Subterranean Sea, etc. I really couldn't care less if there were multiple drops or none.

All I am saying is I don't see Disney bringing JTTCOTE to WDW, primarily because it would cost more money than they are (likely) willing to spend. The reason why so many attractions at TDR are so over-the-top is that Disney isn't footing the bill; OLC is.
