I can't see a business doing business this way. Why would they decide that they want something to go, so they're going to run it into the ground to ruin it? Take the TV show of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - they had a hit, so they thought "hey, let's run it every night of the week if people like it so much". It wasn't a matter of wanting to ruin it - it was greed that caused them to overexpose the show, thus ruining it. Stupid management decisions, both with Millionaire and the revised DDP.

It sounded good to us in the beginning, but after my daughter checked out the restaurants she wanted, and knowing her families taste, nope. But listening to someone on the boards (one of the Dad's I think) I got an AP and will go with the DDE. For our group that still sounds good. Hope I'm right.

vbdad, you are probably the one who sold me on DDE, many thanks!! With 11 of us going to be there for the first week, and 3 for the second week, I expect to more than get my money's worth. But I'm sure Disney will still make money off me so I won't feel bad. Curiously, husband, son and I will be there 2 weeks, so all 3 of us have APs. Where we're 11 for 1 week and I know the DDE is only for 10, because the 3 of us have APs, will the 11th be covered by the discount. Paying full for 1 certainly won't kill me, I'm just wondering how the rules go.

Now I'll never sleep tonight. 264 more days, I'll never last.

You may want to call the number and talk to them in person, as I have ordered my card in say June, to be delivered in July so that I can use in August. You have to allow for 2-4 weeks mailing time - if I remember right without digging out my notes. You do get a letter very quickly confirming the DDE that can be used just in case the card does not arrive.
