SuzieQ, I know you have said how much you like these rooms. Do you, or anyone else, have any recommendation for room location? I think I remember you saying you were above World of Disney once? Can you see the fireworks there?

Are there any DTD view rooms that aren't so good? There will be 5 of us, two adults and three kids 7,8, and 11, so the queen with bunkbeds should work out great. I think the bunkbeds will be a hit with the boys.

Do all of the DTD rooms have balconies?

Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have more info on this?

It was as though they'd built the roof overhang at a perfect height so that you could see fireworks in the little space between the roof and the Indy facade. This was back when they were doing the Believe! fireworks though, so I'm not sure if there is much of a height difference for the current fireworks.

Also do they have the queen and bunkbed rooms with that view? Thanks, I think it would be neat to people watch from our room. And if you can see the fireworks from your room, then taht is an added bonus!!

When we stayed, I was going to take a nap in the early evening and there was a drummer RIGHT outside our room. I closed the door and the drumming was almost completely silenced. Awesome.

The balcony with table and 4 chairs faced out towards Grizzley Peak and the bedroom balcony was where you could see the fireworks. The view from this was not that great but you could see people entering both DL and DCA. It was just so neat to see fireworks when we first got there (late check-in). The additional bedroom was facing Grizzley Peak and the monorail.

We had a nice little balcony with a table & chairs that made it nice to watch the fireworks or to just relax outside & enjoy DTD.

    Only one week to go!

We were down in that end too (regular room), and those stairs rock. Saves you a lot of walking to DL. The only trouble is you can't get back IN that way, so you had to use the standard DTD entrance to the Grand.
