I was looking at the pictures from the Pirates opening and although we had planned on seeing it at DTD, wondered about seeing it here instead. They seem to have some really neat movie set stuff and my son loves that kind of thing. Anyone been there?

The problem with a taxi ... being a 35 mile drive .. can hit your wallet pretty good.

    Perhaps someone here knows of a shuttle or bus service.

    There is one way to take Orange County's only rail system up there.

    You could find your way to one of two Metrolink stations (Fullerton/Harbor Blvd, or Edison Field/Kattella Ave.) .. take the Metrolink to Union station .. and switch to LA's RED line subway .. and take it to Hollywood and Highland.

    That's quite an adventure .. can be a lot of fun .. but just a warning - Time consuming. But still fun! :)

    Yes, the have an organist who plays Disney/Disneyland music. and the opening of the movie is very cool so be sure to get there a bit early and be in your seats to see it. There are also props and costumes to see in the lobby areas and Captain Jack and some other characters to entertain you while you wait. We had a GREAT time! Be sure to stay to the very end of the movie and see the surprise after the credits.
