For the record I have very mixed feelings about this. The DCA needs a nighttime show I just wish that they had done something original. To me the Electrical parade should always be doing down Main Street.

And the decision is just one more example of how money dictates all company decisions.

I enjoy how it is just a place where I can hang-out with my friends after school and go on rides without any lines and crowds. Now with this parade, people are going to stay just to see this parade. Well, then people will realize just how stupid California Adventure is for a family park. DCA is just a teen hang-out with good music and a cool atmosphere and I can only hope it stays this way.

As Cynthia told Doobie..the teams that created Light Magic and Belive were many of the same people. The point is sometimes they hit, and sometimes they miss. I think here they are making the safe choice, by going to something they know will hit.

Imagine if they did do something NEW at DCA, and it was a flop a la Light Magic....DCA cannot withstead that kind of critism right now.

I think it is a good move for us and for them.

I'll always miss it, I'm sure, but it's alot like Country Bears or Mr. Lincoln or the Tiki Room. I would hate to see those go, but I hardly see them "ever visit" to the park.

The Disney you love was probably a lot more profitable too. Have you seen their recent earnings report? Ouch.

In my opinion I'd perfer for the MSEP to RIP.

Personally I've seen this parade enough to remember all of the floats and my wife still has her bulb from a float in comerorative display case.J

ANYWAY, I think this is the wrong decision. A cheap, low stab at loyal customers.

And has it occurred to anyone yet how silly that parade is going to look in DCA? Their parade route is REALLY wide. Disneyland's REALLY isn't. It'll look kinda meager.

And I never ever ever expected this to happen. I just thought it was one of those come-n-go rumors.

I'm kinda shocked now that I think about it.

And on top of that, my Animazement is closing! WHAT AM I GONNA DO???????

At least I still have Steps In Time and Eureka. Now THAT'S entertainment.

    Drew )

I enjoyed the parade while it was at Disneyland and would be glad to see it again maybe once or twice. However, I didn't LOVE it and will be majorly disappointed should the parade remain at DCA and continue playing. I too am hoping for a new night time parade from Disney. Light Magic seemed a step in the right direction, though they needed to work on it a bit to get there. Hopefully we'll get a new parade once the country and Disney Co get out of this economic "slump."
