I also read a blog post recently trying to revive rumors of DAK's Rivers of Light, but I think that was more of a hopeful post rather than having any real information in it. I think it would be great if both resorts got a new nighttime parade (or several), since MSEP is just so old and tired at this point; you can find more impressive light displays in average neighborhoods around Christmas in most cities

Spell check wouldn't have helped you for that. What someone needs to create is an "Intent Check" program.

Fantillusion was a superb parade...in Tokyo that is, where it played in it's total grandeur night after night, unlike that botched version of it in Paris. MSEP is nostalgic and so on but it's horribly outdated and the reason why people still line up to see is because the MK doesn't offer anything else of higher quality. But Dago.. go to Tokyo and see Dreamlights. Bring kleenex because you will cry tears of overwhelmed joy. A friend of mine who say the parade with me last month for her first time cried. It was that powerful an emotion.

Well then as #1 in the US they should really try harder to come up with a new night time parade.

    Agreed.

Cool though it certainly is, it really is just an updated ELP, and getting a bit long in the tooth at that.

Mushy sentiments aside, a new show or parade would be much appreciated, especially since the park next door is now featuring an updated re-tread of its own in the form of Fantasmic...let's get something NEW for a change (the way it used to be!).
