He reached out and patted her bare calf a couple of times and said loudly, "Daddy this lady has fat legs!"

There was nowhere to escape to, but she (thank goodness!) never gave out any sign that she even noticed. I was all prepared to say, "I never met this kid before in my life."

I was wearing a long sundress because I had gotten a pretty bad sunburn and the dress is long and flowy and didn't rub on my sunburn. I was standing by the rails looking out over the Rivers of America and these kids came racing by and ran into me. I tripped and stepped on the hem of my dress which then made one of the spaghetti straps holding it up snap. A couple of people standing nearby got a bit of an eyeful before I could grab the top of my dress to hold it in place. I then had to walk back to my room at the GCH holding the top of my dress up. I got a few half sympathetic, half amused looks from passers by on the way.

I no longer wear long, spaghetti-strapped dresses to the parks.

I think we were by Spaceship Earth...actually, i remember these big awnings that were covering buildings. they were blue? i dont know, but anyway, the supports for these awnings came down and were planted right in the middle of the walkway. I was reading the map and I ran right into the concrete foundation for the metal supports. I tripped and fell right into the metal pole and looked around to see if anyone saw...ahhaha good times...im gonna post again if i remember a better story...sorry that was pathetic

im gonna go on a bike ride now at 10:41pm ahaha, not that you need to know that, but i thought id just spit that out. Maybe it will give me time to think of a good story at Disneyland.....

It was 1995, I was about 3 and a half, my very first trip to Disneyland. I wanted to ride the Rocket Jets with my grandpa, so my mom and grandma were going to ride together in a different rocket. However, I don't know if any of you remember, but the old Rocket Jets were not the most roomy of ride vehicles. My mom is very tall, so her knees took up a significant amount of what little space was available, and then comes in my grandma, lovable and squishy as she is. It occured to my mother about halfway through my grandma sitting down, that this was NOT a good idea. After being uncomfortable through the entire ride, it came to a stop, and everyone was instructed to exit the rockets etc. Well, my mom and grandma were completely STUCK in their rocket! A cast member had to try to get them out all while they are laughing hysterically at the ridiculousness of the situation!
Since then, they were re-opened with larger rockets. Coincidence? I think not ;]

Note to self, When people watching - add s-strapped dresses to list of park goers I should pay special attention to.

We were trying to get into that little buggy while it was moving allthe while suckin it in as far as we could to get that bar down so we were safe. I think if that ride crashed we would have to have been pryed out with the jaws of life. there was no way we'
d of been tossed out. We were packed tight like sardines. LOL! What a sight it must have been.

Just send some crazy kids running into the dress wearers and you'll have yourself a show...or maybe that only happens to lucky little me :)

LS, RE #132, That happens to my husband when he rides Mulholland Madness. He is 6'5" and watching him squeeze into those tiny seats and then try and get the lap bar over his knees is hilarious.

When I was 5 I was the scardist little kid of them all. I wouldn't even go on like the little airplanes and stuff that are meant for 2-3 year olds. Well my mother decides that we should go on the skyride so here we get on about 1/2 way up I decide I am going to jump out and do. By the time my mother realizes what I had done she is 2 high to jump off. So she has to tell all of the sky ride people what happened so that they could try to find me.
