Embassy Suites So. anyone stay there?

    It is a little far from the parks, but they're just a quick ride on the ART away. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

    I've stayed there a couple times. It's a solid choice. It's a pretty typical example of the brand, nothing really special about it (except for the lion in the atrium I guess).

    But if you're not planning on staying within walking distance of the resort, this is probably one of the better choices. Espcially if you're a breakfast person.

We ride the ART (?) when we stay there and you can buy the tickets for that right there in the lobby....not expensive. Plus the bus only stopped at our hotel and delivered us right to the park. When we are ready to leave.....you just go to the bus stop that you were let off at. you cannot beat this place....in my opinion

    I have stayed there 4 times and love it. I especially love the free breakfast and the overall theme of the hotel. Out of the three Embassy Suites in Anaheim this is definately the best.

Having the extra room (both living room and extra square feet) make it seem more like a small apartment than a hotel. You won't be disappointed, but they've recently started charging for parking. They did this a few years ago than stopped. I wonder if they'll stop charging again soon?

    I don't know about the charge for parking.....I never have a car. I have stayed at the Carousel before....it is fine. Do not expect much at breakfast though.........the Carousel is nothing like the Embassy Suites South. But, it is right across the street and was clean and comfortable.

    KCCHIEF - thanks. We went with the Carousel because it was across the street and with a toddler's 1st trip we thought that would be the way to go. But we'll check out Embassy Suites for future trips - especially since we might be able to purchase AP's for the first time - yea!!
