Heat isn't such a huge deal. I mean, it gets hot but nothing ridiculous. I still vote for Spring for crowds. If you have several days to spend in the Resort, though, and plan on taking your time, using FastPass when you can, and enjoying yourself regardless of crowds then you should go whenever you can! In the end, it's better to go when it's busier than to not go at all!
