Originally Posted By cassiedoodle sunday, february 3rd, 2008 (super bowl sunday) we spent the day at magic kingdom. by the afternoon the crowds arrived, so we decided to go back to the hotel and go for a swim. christopher and my mom were whispering back and forth to each other behind my back, and he told me that my parents had a surprise for me when we returned for the parade... something from my childhood. from that point on, i kept wondering what the surprise was. we then started talking about getting engaged. we had been telling me for the past fews weeks how much he wished he could propose to me in disney world, but there was no way that it was possible without me seeing the ring. he told me that he was going to ask me on valentine's day, and that it would be so romantic that it wouldn't even matter that i knew it was coming. we took the bus back to the magic kingdom a few hours later. we walked down main street looking for my parents who were saving out seats for spectromagic. there was a show going on in front of the castle that was extremely long. due to the large crowd, we had to walk through tomorrowland to get to the strawberry swirl stand to get some ice cream. the entire way there, christopher was on a tangent about how loud the show was. the show let out just as soon as we got out ice cream. we struggled to get through the crowd when he wanted to grab a photographer for a nice picture of us in front of cinderella's castle. i took our ice creams back to our parents so that we didn't have to hold them in our picture. i ran back to the statue of walt and mickey so that i wouldn't be holding up the photographer. christopher was standing there, and he told me that we were taking our picture in the rose garden instead. we walked over and i saw the photographer setting up the camera and tripod. he started complaining about the light stand next to the castle, and i just told him to shut up because it'll still look fine. when the photographer was ready, we stood in front of the castle and had a few pictures taken. we asked me "has this been your best trip to disney world?" of course, i said yes. he then asked "do you want to make it better?" he reached into his messenger bag and pulled out the ring box. he got down on one knee and said "will you marry me?" i started crying, and nodded yes. we hugged, and the photographer continued taking pictures. the perfect engagement --------------------- i bought myself a minnie bridal hat, and we got "just married" buttons (the guy at city call crossed out "just" and put "almost") we received the following things for free: --3 apple cobblers --a no-wait ride on tower of terror with out own car and free 8by102 --2 cookies --first family in the american adventure --3 pins --1 green curly straw --2 expedition everest fast passes --8 MK fast passes --2 free sundae's --2 bride and groom folded mickey and minnie towels ...i think that's it long live year of a million dreams!
