Also, when it's time to leave.. be prepared to walk a little farther to get to the few exits the Great Wall of EPCOT now offers. These walls have effectively killed the look of EPCOT's cosmetics at the front of the park ticket booths. And while I appreciate the little effort they did to add some logo touches, the walled fence is hideous, cuts thru the gardens like a hose that has been out in the sun too long, and they are simply unnecesary. If WDW management thinks these gates make their parks a bit safer.. well NO. They make controlling the crowd to/from the park better, but safer?? NO. It's yet another sad reminder of what has happened to this nation in the past 7 years. Why not make 9/11 a national holiday so we can continue to milk this fear for centuries to come...? That is if this Earth of ours last that long! What a contrast of idealisms when you have to go thru a gate and security check to go into a freaking theme park, then they end the day with a very dated message of hope and positive outlook with Illuminations. I am totally disgusted with this latest initiative at WDW.

I'm indifferent, they look out of place defiantly. But they did attempt to give it an Epcot touch... if only they were a different color and matched the architecture better.

Nope, there's been at least one that's been there since opening day. While it might be hard to see, and even harder to remove, it's been there, and I'm pretty sure it's not the only one (although I have no idea where others might be). http://tinyurl.com/2hfe6v

Maybe making everyone enter in the nude would ... but would you really want to subject yourself to that kind of pure terror?
