Very corny and amateurish, while being simple enough for your average dumb tourist to understand.

As for the original post, there are dozens written by kids and famous authors scrolled around the "Living With The Land" queue. Many inspiring when I read them, but none that I can quote.

Most song lyrics don't hold up real well to close scrutiny when recited without benefit of the music that they're tied to. Listen to "Horse with No Name."

Sorry ChiMike - it was a pretty late (and lame) post for me. The humor I was trying to convey was to the tune of Barry Manilow's "I Write The Songs".

While reading the previous posts I related the "Land" song and the corny John Denver references and kept getting other corny songs stuck in my brain. "I Write The Songs" is one of them.

There are plenty of Disney songs that get stuck in my brain too (I'll refrain from posting the list to avoid spreading brain-sticking moments to others).

Bottom line, I won't quit my day job.

If anyone has or remembers the long FUTURE WORLD loop of the 80's, which they still play in Disneyland's Tomorrowland, there's a segment featuring grand orchestration of that tune. It feels very "Bold American Frontier."
