So sick of that group and their general disdain for any teams not part of their east coast block - I hope some of them had actual money on the game.

Go Bears..... 39 - 14 and with any kind of conversions would have been over before halftime - I hope they all annoint the Colts/Patriots as prohibitive favorites in 2 weeks also - that way Chicago people can make some more money.

and one last btw -- for Denny Green - well yes they did crown our backsides today. NFC Champs

That's what I was telling two of my best friends who are huge Bear fans tonight. This will work in their favor.

Yeah, 2 weeks of how Peyton Manning has exorcised his demons, and now ready to take his place in the HoF - yada yada.
And did you see - he put up 38 points -- who is going to beat that ? ( of course I still think 39 is more than 38 - but we don't have a Manning on the roster.)

And personally I want to see him get his backside handed to him - going back to his performance in the Citrus Bowl when his Vols beat my Wildcats. Remember 24 -24 halftime - he was unconscious passing and Darnell Autry running for 100+ yards in the 1st half witha 103 fever. But Autrey was too sick to play in the second half and it was back to back bowl losses ( Rose bowl the year before to USC) for the best teams NU ever had.

Someone should start a pool on how long it takes for one of the ESPN geniuses to make the connection that Archie Manning played for the Saints so Peyton can avenge the loss today for the City of new orleans.

As long as the Bear defense that played today shows up in Miami, they can say what they want for the next 2 weeks.

And a big kudos to Lovie Smith today. Terry Bradshaw asked him about being the first black head coach to go to a Superbowl and Lovie didn't even acknowledge the question.

At least for one day I was wrong on my assesment of Manning. I thought the Pats would win. I'm still wondering when Belechek will use that last time out.
