Our first trip to the parks will be in approx 8 weeks time. Myself, sister & Mum are going. The first 2 days it will be just myself & my sister (so these can be full on, ride only days). The next two days with Mum we will see all the shows, parades, shops & slow down & take it all in.

My question is would someone like to help us with a step by step plan of the order to get fastpasses & hit the rides to our maximum advantage.

Here are some details that will help:
    Day 1. Tokyo Disneyland (Tuesday)
    Day 2. Disneysea (Wednesday)

Also Tower of Terror will be open & The Haunted Mansion overlay will be in effect. (And the massive crowds we are expecting because of these)

    Closures scheduled are:
    Disneyland - It's a Small World
    Disneysea - Auqatopia & Sinbad

Would love to hear all your opinions.

There is also a very good chance your group will be small... mine was VERY intimate (I was the only guest!) Well worth a few hours of your time, IMO.

Run to Pooh first thing. That's probably all you need to do as far as a touring plan. LOL.

October does tend to be reasonably busy (especially at weekends) but I've a sneaky suspicion that TDR's attendance issues will continue through the rest of the year.

There is no reason why on even a busy day you can't do TDS in a day. And that includes the major shows. The attractions rarely have long standby lines (like over 45 minutes) anymore. I'd recommend Raging Spirits if you like coasters as it has such a pitiful hourly occupancy that it can have reasonable queries.

TDL is always slightly different but I'd expect Pooh and Buzz to be neck-and-neck in the queue stakes with Big Thunder a squeak behind in October.

The shows will be another scenario though. Halloween parade is always popular. The rest of the shows will depend on what you like. If it is kitschy character shows then One Man's Dream II, Minnie O Minnie and Over The Waves (TDS) are perfect. Classier affair (IMO) includes Mystic Rhythms, Big Band Beat and Legend of Mythica (all at TDS).

There is definitely a myth that TDR is perpetually busy. It just isn't the case. Much like Disneyland it can have very quiet mid-week days. And that is both parks (although TDS is rarely rammed these days). Even the July 14 kick-off for the 5th was manageable.

No doubt fueled by your dislike of Japan in general, and the Tokyo Disney Resort in particular, you must be really enjoying the notion that they are having a bad year.

Honestly, I couldn't care less anymore (if Tokyo Disney closed tomorrow, I wouldn't care), but your obsessive dislike of the place and enjoyment of any bad news is really pathetic.

Please don't come to Japan anymore, since you hate it so much.

And, while you're at it, why not find some new writers for your magazine that don't share the same distaste for the Japanese Disney parks that you do?

    Like TDLFAN, maybe.

Thunder Mountain seems pretty popular too...if you want to get a fastpass there.

As for shows, always get there as early as you are able at TDL...the good seats sell out quickly!
