The new location should function as a Epcot Character Spot of-sorts for Main Street and give Mickey and Friend's a "home" in the Magic Kingdom while his country house torn down.

My guess is that they'll use the Disney Story queue area for much of it's original purpose as the wait at Epcot's character spot can get quite long, and then the theater's themselves will be segmented into themed areas for the various characters.

I don't think it will play out exactly like Character Spot, and wont have the same visibility (those Communicore glass walls came in handy!) but I think anyone wanting to meet Mickey will have the chance in a unique themed environment ;)

Every little build out in this direction is a win for the guest experience. In fact, it might encourage them to build some park guest venues.

Yes, I did know the theater was used for many cast events, staff meetings and DVC sales pitches. I wasn't aware that Pricewaterhouse had some permanent base there ...

Freedom of speech can be such a drag sometimes, can't it.

Like so many other people I found this little spot to be a refreshing oasis of peace, and quite. Away from the maddening hordes of snotty nose bawling children, and their obnoxious parents.

Isn't that how most people view the Exposition Hall?

I imagine they are just trying to utilize a dead space. What better use than as a meet 'n greet. You can never have to many of them in the Meet 'N Greet capital of the World.

It was the place to be even if I was on the far end of the park in the opposite direction...I would hurry over to Toontown and enjoy the downpour. Why do these improvements make me a little sad?
