What are some of your favorite Disney symbols (especially at Disneyland) and why? What meaning do they have? Give me some insight into the Disney fan's perspective.

Thanks! Can't wait to see what you guys say!

For rides i would have to say pirates of the carribean. This ride is just a staple that no matter how many times you ride it you will still come back.

I still remember the thrill I got when I was a child and drove by Disneyland, and seeing the majestic peak of the Matterhorn. It didn't matter so much that I rarely got to, just knowing I was close to Disneyland was a thrill.

However, once in the park itself, it would definitely be the Castle. After all, that was high lighted every Sunday night on the wonderful world of Disney.

Once in the park it continues and grows - the Happiest people, the attention to detail, the background music that seemlessly transforms from one land to another, the new sights and smells around every turn. ... and of course the main symbol is the Mickey Mouse silhouette outline.
